* More neurologists are embracing the Internet, using blogs, wikis and forums to not only interact with others in their field, but also to communicate with patients.
* A 2009 report revealed that among patients ages 25 and over, ambulatory care for neurological disorders is significantly higher than for younger patients, particularly the 25-to-44 age group.
* While neurologists rank as the most-referred-to specialist in the United States, 77% of counties in the southeastern United States do not have a hospital with neurology services.

Marketing Religion to Younger Generations Due for a Change

As religious diversity increases across the U.S., it seems that few young adults have much in-depth knowledge on the topic. A Pew Forum report indicates that up to 25% of young adults are unaffiliated with any church. And another study by Barna Group finds that a majority of young adults say the Bible, the Quran and the Book of Mormon are documents that depict the truth but they lack details to support these beliefs. These findings concern the leaders of traditional and established religions who worry about the future of their institutions. But one of the reports offers a glimpse at the best way to market religion to younger consumers and perhaps increase their participation.

* Another area of opportunity is with fueling small power equipment. There’s a growing market for low-emission outdoor equipment, including propane-fueled leaf blowers and reel mowers.
* For the 2010 winter season, concerns over price volatility and potential shortages are a challenge for retailers in this industry. Currently, U.S. propane inventories are 10 million barrels below last year’s levels.
